Adventure Camping Safaris
These tours are participation Overland tours. We provide spacious 2 person tents with sewn in ground sheets and a separate fly sheet. and camping equipment, but you need to bring along your own Sleeping Bag and Sleeping Mat. Some of the campsites have simple roomed accommodation, so on occasion you have the choice, at an extra cost, to upgrade to a bed if you want to.
We welcome any adventurous traveler who is keen to explore by Overland tour with us! You will need to have a reasonable fitness, be a keen camper and have a good sense of adventure. Most nights you will stay in organised campsites which usually have hot water showers and extra facilities such as a bar or swimming pool.
Occasionally, when there is no local campsite available, we may have to bush camp. Our vehicles are completely self-sufficient for this and camping out in the middle of the African bush can be a memorable experience.
These tours are suitable for all travelers aged 18 and older with the average age being 18 - 35 years. We do not have an upper age limit, however we will need travelers aged 60 and older to supply a signed Passenger Indemnity form and Medical Certificate from your Doctor confirming you are medically fit for this type of tour.
